Louis Carroll Non-Executive Chairman
Louis joined the board of Cover-More in 2003 and has significant experience in the travel assistance and call centre industries with more than 30 years' experience in general management.
Louis co-founded Access 24, which specialised in telephone service programs and call centre outsourcing which expanded into New Zealand and the UK and was later acquired by TeleTech, a US-listed global business process outsourcing company, where Louis held the position of President and General Manager of the Asia Pacific region.
Louis also originally co-founded the Customer Care business, which was acquired by Cover-More in 2001. Louis holds a BA (Honours) degree in English from London University.
Mike Emmett Group Chief Executive Officer
Mike joined Cover-More as Group Chief Executive Officer in July 2016 to oversee the next phase of Cover-More's growth and evolution.
His appointment to lead Cover-More comes after a successful, 20-year executive career with QBE, EY, Morse, IBM, Accenture and PwC. Mike has extensive international experience assisting companies in the insurance, banking and technology industries in Australia, Asia, Africa, the UK and the USA to transform through revenue growth and strategic optimisation of operations.
Will Easton Non-Executive Director
Will Easton have joined the Board as Non-Executive Director in 2015.
Will is Managing Director of Emerging Markets for Facebook after two successful years as Managing Director for Facebook in Australia and New Zealand. Before he joined Facebook in 2013, he held executive management roles with Google, focused on mobile, social and retail platforms. Will brings a significant and unique expertise with talent in digital strategy to Cover-More.
In addition to his position with Facebook, Will is currently a Board member of the Mobile Marketing Association in Asia Pacific, Non-Executive Director for Dimmi Pty Ltd in Australia and also Non-Executive Director for the Starlight Foundation in Australia.
Sam Mostyn Non-Executive Director
Sam joined the board of Cover-More in November 2013 and has longstanding experience in the Australian corporate sector, both in executive and non-executive functions, particularly in the areas of human resources, corporate and government affairs, sustainability management and diversity.
She sits on the boards of Virgin Australia, Transurban Group and Citibank Australia. Prior to her appointment, Sam held senior executive roles at IAG, Optus and Cable & Wireless. Sam is a Commissioner with the Australian Football League and the National Mental Health Commission.
Sam holds a BA/LLB from the Australian National University.
Lisa McIntyre Independent Non-Executive Director
Lisa joined the board of Cover-More in November 2013 and has over 20 years' experience providing strategic, commercial and operational advice to leading companies in the healthcare and technology sectors in Australia and overseas.
Lisa also serves as a board member of Silex Limited, a publicly listed renewable energy company, HCF Group, the largest member-based private health insurance organisation in Australia, l-MED Network, the largest provider of radiology services in Australia, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Tutoring Australia.
Lisa was a former senior partner in global strategic consultancy L.E.K. Consulting, leading L.E.K.'s Asia Pacific Life Science and Healthcare practice. Lisa holds a PhD in physical chemistry from Cambridge University, a BSc in biochemistry and mathematics from the University of Sydney, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Trevor Matthews Independent Non-Executive Director
Trevor joined the board of Cover-More in November 2013 and has over 40 years' experience in the financial services industry. He was previously with Aviva as Executive Director and Chairman, Developed Markets and prior to that as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aviva (UK). Trevor has also held the position of Group CEO with Friends Provident and CEO of Standard Life in the UK, and of Manulife Financial in Japan. He also held senior roles with National Australia Bank and Legal & General in Australia.
Trevor was Commissioner for the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, Chairman of the Financial Services Skills Council in the UK, and served on the boards of the Life Insurance Association of Japan, the Life Office Management Association in the United States, and the Life Investment and Superannuation Association in Australia. Trevor is a Director of AMP Limited, Bupa Australia and New Zealand, FNZ Asia Pacific, Tokio Marine Asia. He is also Chairman of 1stAvailable, Chairman of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in Australia and the UK.
Stephen Loosley AM Non-Executive Director
Stephen joined the board of Cover-More in November 2013 and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
He has extensive experience in government, public policy and the corporate sector. He holds several board and advisory roles including Acting Chairman of Thales Australia Advisory Board, Deputy Chairman of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Deputy Chair of the Asia Society Australia and Chair of Woomera Prohibited Area Advisory Board.
Previously, Stephen served as a Senator for New South Wales and General Secretary of the Australian Labor Party, NSW Branch. He is also a former advisory board member of Crescent Capital Partners. He served for five years as a Senior Vice President of the European Australian Business Council. He is a former advisory board member of Veolia Australia, former board member of the National Rugby League (representing News Limited), former Chairman of the Committee for Sydney and former board member of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue.
Stephen holds a BA (Honours) from the University of NSW, LLB (Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
On Australia Day 2015, Stephen was awarded an AM for services to the Parliament and International Policy.
